Weddings are what we do the most.

An elegant trio for your drinks or a full-blown party band for the dancing? We’ll help you hand-pick the right acts.

How a wedding day usually runs

01

Ceremony

A trumpet ensemble or a female singer and acoustic guitarist for guest arrival, the walk in, the signing and the exit.

02

Drinks

Something warm and unobtrusive that people can chat over - jazz, bossa, acoustic.

What couples ask us
Will the band learn our first dance?

Usually, as long as we have a few weeks’ notice. We’ll let you know if it works for the band’s line-up. If not, we can play the original recording through the sound system, with the band kicking off as soon as it finishes.

03

Walk-in & Speeches

A sound system with extra speakers in the dining room, so your walk-in music fills the room and every speech is heard at the back.

What couples ask us
Do we choose the songs?

We do leave it to the acts to determine the final set and order, as their experience of what works is a big part of what you’re paying for. But let us know any songs you’d particularly like to hear (or any you wouldn’t) and we’ll pass them on to the band. For DJ sets, we ask for 10-15 of your favourite songs so they know the kind of thing you like.

04

First dance & the band

Played live or the original recording, followed by one ninety-minute or two sixty-minute sets.

What couples ask us
How far ahead should we book?

Our most popular dates are summer Saturdays or New Year’s Eve, and we sometimes get booked up to two years in advance. If the act you’d like isn’t available, we’ll suggest another that we think will suit.
