A bit about us.
Looking for a spectacular band for an outrageous party? Or a DJ to have the stiffest of spectators tear up the dance floor at your wedding?
Rattle & Shake started in 2017, when we left our jobs and began designing bands of our own. We hand-pick the musicians, arrange the songs and dress each line-up for the occasion, whether that’s a wedding in a marquee in Wiltshire or a birthday in a ballroom in Mayfair.
Over the years, our musicians, bands and DJs have performed across the globe, winning praise from wedding planners and thousands of happy clients. From intimate gatherings to enormous parties, we have the experience to make all of it happen.
Behind the bands

Ed Cox
Having spent most of my life both playing at parties and organising them, my friend and I decided that leaving our jobs and starting Rattle & Shake was the natural next step.
Starting with The Fabulous Hurricanes when we were thirteen, we played our first paid wedding when we were sixteen, and I still front the band 700 or so shows later.
I studied classical music at Newcastle, which prepared me for a career in almost none of this, and then joined Chance Organisation in London as an events planner, which prepared me for most of it.
When I’m not performing on stage I write music for film trailers and TV shows, including the theme to one of the Below Deck shows.
