Intimate to epic, at home or abroad.
Black-tie birthdays to themed family celebrations, with bands and DJs who know how to fill a dance floor.
How parties usually run
Arrival
Something with a pulse at a background volume - a trio or a DJ while people find a drink.

Speeches
Extra speakers around the venue, so every word carries to the back as clearly as it does to the front.

It depends on the location and the time of year. For a midsummer wedding in England, we suggest later rather than sooner, so the dance floor isn’t competing with the sun. After the meal, leave about 20 minutes before the band starts - time for guests to go to the loo, get a drink from the bar and catch up with anyone they haven’t spoken to yet - so they’re ready to dance when the band starts. We’ll work with you to find the right moment to start.
The band
Ninety minutes, or two sets of sixty, timed to when the party is fullest.

Yes - we’ve provided acts for 15 guests upwards, and a trio in a drawing room is as normal to us as a nine-piece in a marquee. A duo or a DJ fits most rooms in a house. For a full band, tell us about the space and we’ll say what it needs before we quote.
After party
A DJ until the venue turns the lights on.

Yes, and we’d always recommend it. The band has to stop at some point; the music doesn’t have to.
